 Mary the Elephant they cheered for her life they cheered for her death.

 In 1917, this kind and gentle beast was hung in a public square. Left to dangle and die. 

It was in the circus ring that she found love and affection and peace. I know this because I channeled her. It kept her alive! Her love for people was profound,deep and unshakable and still she haunts me. She refuses to believe that it was anything but love that killed her anything else would snuff out her soul. 

And so please.  I need your help. I need you to print out a picture of her, show her to your friends, make a t-shit, a mug a mouse pad (Cafepress.com) and cheer when you feel her. she will bring you luck and joy! Yeh!

Mary has enough love to make this world a better place and I promise you she will visit you and overwhelm you in ways you never thought possible.  Think of this as your first experience channeling an animal.

I am paraded out with my elephant friend like so many times before.

My back legs are on tiptoes.

My spine is crushing

 I can stand on my back legs just like you taught me when you beat me with a bullhorn and

Stuck metal poles up my trunk

Please I am choking my home legs are dangling.

 I’m gonna fall!

I hear crowds cheering they always cheer when they see me I feel love there

 I only feel when I am with them.

Why so much pain?

My eyes are bulging out of their sockets.

This is a difficult trick indeed.

I am falling into my crushed hung legs my backbones stretch I fall to my side.

That was a great trick I told you I would learn you trick

They cheer I feel

I cannot get up my bones and broke from the inside bleeding

I am moaning in pain can you hear me.

Still you cheer.

Love.

I write in pain for a good long time

It should stop soon

Like all the beatings that have come before.

I hear the crowd cheer and I know that they love me.

I just know it.

The first chain breaks quickly but so does my hip I scream for hours for help

And they cheer.

They love me.

I learned the trick.

No No not again.

I feel another chain around my neck please do not do that I cannot move please do not hoist me up again

My spine is braking my blood spills down my legs.

This trick? Not again.

Please

Maybe tomorrow I’ll feel better them

But still you cheer 

You love me.

I dangle for hours until my eyes bulge and I cannot speak anymore.
But I see my elephant friends looking up at me.

If they’re still cheering I cannot hear them anymore

Does this mean they don't love me?

You see I told you I could learn your trick for you.

I’m dangling for hours  suffocating thick shin around my neck

for a very long time.

The people are gone

Can I go home now?

Chain crushed my larynx so I could not shout 
hour and hours
 slowly suffocation to death feel eyes bulging
 pain worse than the bullhorn

 I never imagined for a long time for a very long time

I cannot rest

I cannot believe

That cheering can be anything but love

And so I will walk the world looking for them that cheer.

Living in the Moment

Have you ever thought that by living in the moment you must forget your past

EASTER, CHRIST, THE CROSS AND NEW YEAR'S... Channelling my Yogi #4

As Christ rises from the dead so should we. Easter is  the TRUE New Years Day. Forget Jan 1st.

The message is not that we are here to merely witness Jesus rise, but that we too can rise with him. Jesus wants us all to rise together as one. He is showing us on this Easter New Years Jesus is born again. He was never dead.
He did not rise from the dead.

He never died because he never can. And neither can we.  There is no death only rebirth. Jesus was born again. As he been born again in the souls of the world.

Jesus is showing us the way. And like Jesus we can metamorphasize into a changed being even as our bodies animate.

We have the privledge of building on the knowledge of our past lives and housing those tresures in a body that hobbels along.

It not that we have to do something great to get to a next level a higher level, a better level.
We are not here to race one another to the top. Rather  we are here to keep one another from falling to the bottom.

Marionetts

My father bought me a Clown Marionette, 

it was my favorite toy but

when the strings got mixed up I could never 

undo them

 So he bought two others a princess with yellow hair 

and a two legged dog

 My mother gave them away as if they meant nothing to me as he had  meant nothing to her.

She erased

the physical tangibility  of them

 but they dance in my mind,

 even the little clown with the tangled strings.

Today is Ash Wednesday 's Rock 'n Roll holiday.

Think of this day as New Years Eve 2, because you were too drunk to remember New Years Eve 1.

Do the Ash Wednesday today and forget about all that religious stuff. You are all God's children (or not) and this is just a special way to check in with the Big Guy... or your conscience and say, "Hi".

You don't need a Church to do The Ash Wednesday.

You don't need to be Catholic, or even religious.

The Ash Wednesday  is a humble dance a reminder that we all messed-up. It is a symbolic ceremony, a fun thing to do at the office with your coworkers, or with your kids at home. It is a simple, thoughtful time to think a little about the past year and forgive yourself for messing-up. Like I said, this is an easy dance that  anyone can do at  any age or any denomination... even atheists, or agnostics !

And you don't have to head to a church! Just get a spoonful of dirt from the back yard add a drop of water just to make it mucky and you are all set.

If you don't have dirt use some coffee grounds, you can get used coffee grounds anywhere so there is no excuse.

Dip your index finger into the dirt.

If you are traditionally minded you can  repeat, "The father the son and the holy spirit while making a cross on your head".

If  this is not going to fly, wet your finger in the dirt or the coffee and make a dot anywhere on your face and say, "Everyone makes mistakes but  I will also learn from them".

If you've got this far, you have completed the "Ash" Part of the Ash Wednesday.  You are cooking with gas. If you can't go further don't sweat it!

All you have to do for the Lent part is give up a little something as a symbolic gesture. This is the second part of doing the Ash Wednesday and this move is called The Lent.

The Lent is a little daily reminder that you have messed-up and your sorry. It's like a time out. You were naughty and you must pay the price.  You can give up the chocolate chip cookies, maybe the sugar in your coffee, purchasing shoes or a new tie. 

Some people do it for 40 days but  I suggest you count from today til 30 days because then Lent would end on April Fools Day and that will be really cool

At the end of the 30 days you get bragging rights. If I had the budget I would sent you a T-shirt.

Mark your Calendars. April Fools Day is the end of Ash Wednesday and Lent

So celebrate some naughty with the Little Trickster in ya!!!!!
